This year marks a significant milestone as we reflect on the first anniversary of the U.S.-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership upgrade, underscoring a commitment to addressing war legacies and deepening ties through forward-looking initiatives. On October 10 and 11, USIP held a two-part event under the Institute’s Dialogue on War Legacies and Peace, which brought government and nongovernmental experts together to discuss the full range of war legacy issues and U.S. relations with Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
